Project Closeout is typically the final phase of the construction process.  During this time, we conduct a punch list walk to ensure that LA Construction Concept and the client are 100% satisfied with the workmanship of the contractor. If there are any outstanding field issues, it is during the punch list walk that we discuss and resolve these issues prior to establishing project completion. Furthermore, LA Construction Concept safeguards its clients by ensuring that the project contractor provides a close-out package binder, which includes all warranty letters, red line as-built drawings, final approved city inspection cards, owner’s manuals, operation maintenance manuals, permit cards, and air balancing reports.

LA Construction Concept implements Commissioning Verification as part of the close-out process. We verify all equipment startup is functioning correctly per the engineering requirements by performing commissioning-related tasks that ensure the equipment control sequence and any vendor-furnished equipment meet the process function requirements.  We also ensure that our clients receive any training required for new equipment or new system operations. It is not until all contractor responsibilities have been verified and completed that we release the final 10% retention to the contractor for final payment.
